A small introduction
Hi there, my name is Omar, and I’m a Bachelor of Computer Science with over 10 years of experience in the IT field. I have experience in database administration, programming, QA, UI/UX, information security, WordPress and more, plus an avid desire for learning more and more every day.
My first full professional experience was working as a DBA and Identity & Access Manager at one of the most important bank entities in my country; afterward, I moved to an IT company where I did some coding professionally as well. I’ve also done some teaching here and there. All while developing my career as a freelancer on my free time, until it became my full-time work.
Lately, I’ve been specializing in WordPress (consulting, setup, customization, troubleshooting, etc). I’ve worked on dozens of sites with dozens of people; from quick and small fixes to full site creation, from consulting to teaching, and even keeping up with the latest developments when I have some time to spare. I’m always looking for new things to learn.
Working on Fiverr.com for a few years now has been an incredible experience. Because of it, I’ve gotten to know awesome people, clients, and friends, as well as learning a lot thanks to all the different users request we get every day. As a result, I’ve done a lot of growing up, both personally and professionally.
Recently I’ve started working on UpWork.com too, and I’m focusing more on working on my own site, on my own brand and reinforcing my online presence.
